I cannot remember anything unless I write it down. How about you? Of course I keep an updated calendar that has all of my appointments, etc. on it, but what about the errands and things you need to do on a daily basis? I like to keep a list in a word document on my computer that I use daily. I put the things I need to do that day at the top of the page so that I can get them done. Then the other things that can wait are listed below. So, my whole to do list is all in one place so that I will never lose it.
GROCERY LIST:
I also keep an on going grocery list in the kitchen and take it to the store each time I go. When I'm almost out of mustard, I will add it to the list so that I won't be out of it when I go to make a sandwich!

I argee whole heartedly with you Vanna.
I just took an early retirement but prior to that, I always had a running list of items to be accomplished. Now all the appointments go on the caledar but the list on the side of the fridge is the most important one. Everyone knows, including myself, if it is not written down, I probably won't buy it. I guess I would never make it on Jeopardy ???
I do the very same thing too!
I always have to write things down or unless I forget.

Vanna---noticed the "buy yarn for baby gift...". I quilt when the inspiration/mood strikes. So I suppose I should ask a lady who is into needle arts (Crochet, etc). What do you do when you hit a slump and haven't picked up thread for awhile??? What usually kick-starts your projects if you lag?
