Be a Contestant

| | Comments (25)
Would you like to spin and win on Wheel? You could get the chance to audition to be a contestant by attending a Wheelmobile event!

What is the Wheelmobile?
It's 39 feet long, 13 feet high and bright yellow. It rolls through cities, down highways and into America's heartland. Wherever it stops, huge crowds are waiting. It's giving fans all over the country the chance to try out for America's favorite game show. The Wheelmobile serves as the preliminary screening process before the final Wheel of Fortune contestant audition.

What happens at a Wheelmobile event?Thousands of fans fill out applications and gather in front of stage with a traveling version of the famous Wheel and puzzleboard. Applications are drawn at random throughout the event, calling individuals on stage in groups of five to participate in a brief interview, play a version of the Wheel of Fortune speed-up round and win special show-themed prizes.

The most promising candidates are invited back to participate in final auditions for the show, usually held at a later date in the Wheelmobile host city. At the final auditions, Contestant Coordinators look for enthusiastic individuals who are good puzzle solvers, and they invite them to appear on the show.

Wheelmobile events and auditions do not guarantee you a spot on the show, but they sure are a lot of fun! Click here to learn more.

i have been watching wheel for many years and would love to appear on your show.

Is it important to be a good speller? I spell good, but I am not the best. I like watching Wheel of Fortune a lot. I like to solve the puzzles while I am watching. Many times I do before the people on the show!

I would love to be on the show. I have watched it for years. I'll be in Vegas the week you are there.

I love the chemistry between you and Pat. You both seem like genuinely great people. Of course I love wheel.....but who doesn't! Every night after a long day at work at Domestic Relations your show helps me put the day behind me...thanks WHEEL!

Vanna,
Wow I would love to be a contestant, I will be in the LA area from Dec 30th 2010 to Jan 4th 2011. It would be outstanding to be on the show. But then I am sure everyone says that. If the Dec time frame doesn't work, on April 19th is our 42nd wedding Anniaversary instead of just me being on the show my husband and I be on the show that would work for me toooooo.
Take Care & God Bless
Mary

Would love to join but Come and viSIT My ISLAND of Saipan in the Northern Marianas Island. We are in the Pacific region Northeast of Guam.

Of course, I would surely introduced to you the spectacular places around our homes. Oh yes! Still crossing my fingers to see Vanna White & Pat Sajak one day. Truly be a dream!

I see that your show has given so many people the opportunity for their dream to come true and has touched so many lives. Visualize my mother-in-law watching it day in day out, every day of the week whenever it is on. And her son and I would have to sit with her to watch, sometimes intermittently, because we need to tend to something that comes up. It is interesting to learn what makes Wheel of Fortune tick! A long time ago before I ever set foot on US soil I would never have imagined being fixated to a TV screen until I got to know my parents-in-law. "This is my favorite show," she would say over and over, "My husband (or Fred, my brother, my father, whomever her memory recalls at the moment) used to watch it before he died. We have watched it since the beginning." She is 92 years old, is stricken with Alzheimers, has limited hearing, has impaired comprehension, but has an exceptional disposition: a smile is always on her face. She only recognizes your show when Pat and Vanna come out to greet the audience! Maybe one of these days she'll recognize a family member surprising her on the show. She'll take that picture with her to heaven.

Hey Vanna I know it was awhile ago, but I liked your basil you brought on your show. I love pesto and I make a different kind every time. Send me a pesto recipe and I send you mine(that is if you are not too busy.)

Of course, Everyone's LOVE WHEEL. The beautiful woman who wears the fabulous clothes, and the handsome Pat Sajak, who is one of the nicest guys

WHEEL OF FORTUNE IS WHAT I LOOK FORWARD TO AND I WILL USUALLY RECORD A SHOW ON MY DVR IF I KNOW I WON'T BE HOME TO WATCH. A FUN SHOW AND I LOVE VANNA'S FASHIONS. PAT IS SO COMFORTABLE LOOKING AND GENUINE. ENJOY SOLVING THE PUZZLES AND WOULD BE MY GREATEST WISH TO BE A CONTESTANT TO PLAY FOR MONEY AND PRIZES. I HAVE NEVER BEEN ON ANY GAME SHOW AND THIS WOULD BE MY FAVORITE IF I SHOULD BE SO FORTUNATE TO BE CHOSEN.

Hi Vanna, How about doing a show with a grandparent and grandchild as partners. My beautiful 14 year old granddaughter and I would love to do it. I'm still pretty sharp in my old age and it would be a thrill for us both.

I LOVE LOVE Wheel, I think I am your biggest fan. I have been since I was young. Would love to have the opportunity to be on your Show. I would be forever grateful!
Thank You,
Lespia Brandt

Any or all of us would love to be guest on your show. You never know? Right!!

Keep up the good work!!

My family and I watch wheel of fortune every night. We really enjoy it and would love to be on the show. You do a great job.

Wheel Mobile is soooo much fun. It came to Colorado and I went to see if I can try out. Man the energy and excitement is almost like being in the audience at the real Wheel of fortune. I said almost. I was chosen to be a contestant but they did not call me. I plan to be at the event again when wheel mobile comes again to Colorado. You gotta go, its fun!! (Yes I was one of the few lucky ones that went on stage and solved the puzzle - It was "Coors Brewery and I solved it with only the C and R showing. I called R. I will never forget it!)

God Bless Vanna. I have watched you since I was a little girl and wheel has always made me smile and also feel hopeful. My luck has been severely compromised in the last 3 years and what a great way to have fun, hopefully make some money to help my situation and most important meet you and Pat, people I have known for many, many years.

I need a lot of fun in my life and I am a happy person! I just need to feel that something special could happen to me. It has been a long time coming!

I would be so honored to be on your show and to meet the both of you. I would feel so lucky! That would feel good. PS - I am a great player!

Sincerely,

Kathy McDonagh

PPS - I will find a way to get to any audition you are holding!
